How They Wear It: Top L.A. Fashion Bloggers & Tastemakers

If we’re going to trust anyone with styling tips on how to perfectly flaunt items from our spring collection, it’s L.A.’s top fashion bloggers and tastemakers. We gave them all pieces to style for our “Girls Who Lunch” event and couldn’t believe how flawlessly gorgeous they looked in them. To put it simply, we’re obsessed!

How to Work With Your Curves

Dress for the size you are—not what you want to be or once were! Work with what you have! Own it.

1.Dress from the inside out. A well-fitting bra and shapewear will camouflage all lumps and bumps.

2.Clothes should skim your body, not cling to it like sausage casing! Think high-waist, wide trousers, and A-line or flared skirts.

3.Don’t cover your curves! Big clothes on big bodies only make you look bigger.

4.Skirts should end just before or under the kneecap. Your legs will look longer.

5.Shorter, fitted jackets will also flatter your legs—and waist.

6.Avoid elasticized waistbands. They might be comfortable, but they add bulk to your midsection.

7.Keep necklines open. A deep V- or scoop neck lengthens your neck.

8. A dress with a belt will cinch you in, focusing attention on your smaller waist.

9.Wide feet need to be counterbalanced with wide heels. A thinner heel only draws attention to your

PRADA FALL/WINTER 2013 WOMEN'S

The fall 2013 campaigns are starting to pop up and I seriously couldn’t be more excited. Fall is above all, my favorite season and all the gorgeous coats, knits & boots featured in the f/w 13 ads really makes my heart skip a beat. This campaign video from Prada is one of my absolute favorites, love the film noir mood!
