STYLE ICON – HANNELI MUSTAPARTA

Our latest style icon shows us that street style can be glamorous and chic, no matter what the price.
Hanneli Mustaparta is a Norwegian-born model-turned-photographer impressing the fashion world with her effortless, easy New York style while combining high street pieces with haute couture.

Her black booties are from one of her favourite labels, Acne.GIRL ABOUT TOWN Channelling style icon, Audrey Hepburn, Hanneli goes for 1950s styling as she pairs blue denim cropped skinnies with a classic beige trench coat. To give the ensemble a modern touch, she accessorizes with bright accents like mustard-colored loafers and turquoise sling bag.PRETTY AS A PICTURE Hanneli indulges her glamorous side with a super-soft jersey sweater by Vlad paired with a black skirt by Zara. Hanneli pens her own fashion blog called Hanneli which has been picked up by Vogue where she now acts as contributor. Her style pairings have even resulted in her own line of self-portrait T-shirts by Zara, plus collaborations with Diesel, Rag & Bone and Calvin Klein.
Hanneli’s style can best be described as mod-glam urban streetwear – perfect for her preferred mode of transportation: her trusty skateboard. Her fun approach to fashion sees her accessorizing basic separates with out-of-the-box, original flair – all while mix and matching affordable items with more upmarket garments.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post!
